Little Leo is ten weeks already! Eep! I have lots of pics from the past two and a half months, but well, why not jump right in right here? Haha 🙂 I took a few pics of this cutie pie today and thought it was as good a time as any to post!
HEY LEO! What up, dude!!
He had his two month appointment two weeks ago, and he’s still a big guy! His measurements put him right around the 90th percentile. It’s so crazy to me, because Asher was always around the 20th percentile! He’s already grown out of his newborn, 0-3, and 3 month clothes. He’s comfortably in the 6-month ones!
He has blonde hair, and it’s getting blonder. It was a little darker, almost reddish but not as red as Asher’s was. Last week a lot of it fell out, and it’s shiny blonde now. His eyebrows and eyelashes are really light too. His eyes are bright blue. His cheeks are ridiculous. I just want to smooch them all day. And I do! 🙂
He’s a really happy guy. Happy to be home, happy to be in the car, happy to be at the grocery store, just generally content no matter what. It’s awesome.
What else… let’s see. He’s not exactly on a schedule, he just wants to eat ALL.THE.TIME. Big guy, big appetite! I started watching for patterns in his eat/play/sleep routines, and a schedule is definitely emerging. He likes to eat every 2.5 hours during the day. He wakes up twice a night, and gives us two nice sleep sets of 5 hours and 3-4 hours. Ahh! 🙂 The second waking is getting closer and closer to actual morning wake-up time, so I think we’ll be down to just one night feeding soon! Yesss!
He likes floor time, but doesn’t love tummy time. He’s not strong enough for his weight yet, so he gets pretty pissed pretty quick. But he has great neck control when sitting up, and he loves sitting with my support. His favorite position is up on my shoulder looking around, same as his big brother 🙂
He’s getting more hand control, but can’t grab toys yet. He mostly just loves to stare at his fists, haha 🙂 He likes his playmat, and especially loves the zebra. He smiles at the hanging toys, and bats at them. He’ll be grabbing soon!
Asher is an awesome big brother, and often wants to talk to him, kiss him, blow raspberries on his head, hold his hands, hug him, etc. It’s pretty great 🙂
xoxo, Kristen 🙂
